About the Artist

Patrick Briggs was raised in New Mexico where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Eastern New Mexico University. Much of his inspiration comes from the mountains, deserts, mesas & the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Southwest.

Patrick also gained inspiration from the clean lines of Japanese architecture & landscaping as he traveled throughout Japan & the Far East while serving 6 years in the US Navy.

His work has been featured in The Fairfield County Times Designer Show House 2000, Westport, Connecticut & the Water's Edge Magazine a Florida publication.

Patrick also received the Five Star Craftsman Award for work in greater Fairfield County, CT. His commercial installation at Roomba Restaurant, New Haven, Connecticut has been featured on television.
